Use your remote control to open your electric gate without getting out of your car. You’ll like it on sunny days. You’ll love it on rainy days!
If an obstacle is detected, your motorised gate will stop automatically to protect your children, pets or car.
Do you have a person or cyclist waiting at the door? Use your remote control to open the gate partially so that they can enter in total security.
Smartphone, remote control, or voice control, the choice is yours!

Everything you need to know about automatic gates
Generally speaking, yes. Automating gates is a highly skilled task and requires a range of skills that only gate automation professionals have. The best practice would be to get a BFT installer out to check the gates and give advice on the installation.
Your installer will provide you with a manual release key and instructions on how to release the automation system in the event of a power failure.
Some electric gate systems also come with the option of a battery backup that will allow you to continue to use the automation feature in the event of no power.
No. While an inclined driveway can stop gates opening, sometimes it is possible to install a swing gate that opens away from the property, although you will need to ensure that the gates do not obstruct the public highway.
The solution that most people with inclined driveways adopt is to install a sliding gate; one that either slides to one side of the entrance or a bi-sliding gate where each gate leave slides to each side of the entrance. Much will depend on the space available at the side of the entrance.
Stolen or lost remote controls can be deleted from your control board and new ones can be added.
Some possible reasons are:
BFT's U-Control app allows you to open/close the gate and check its status. You would require a U-Link automation, the Beba Wi-Fi module and a good quality Wi-Fi signal at your gate.
Alternatively, you can control your gate using Somfy's TaHoma switch app, allowing for voice control operation too!
Gates and automations do require a certain level of maintenance. We suggest servicing a residential gate once annually, however for gates with more frequent usage we suggest servicing them once each quarter.
